Following the the selection event held on Sunday 25th September, Bowls England has announced the names of the players who have been invited to attend the 2017 Bowls England Youth Academy weekend that will be held in Royal Leamington Spa on the 27th - 28th May 2017. During the weekend, the players selected will have the opportunity to participate in both theoretical and practical sessions, all of which are designed to support them on their pathway towards international recognition. These sessions will be led by personnel specially invited by Bowls England, and overseen by members of the men’s and women’s international selection committees.

The Club's congratulations go to Ashley Netherclffe on his selection for the Academy and also to the less experienced Heather Statham who has been chosen as a reserve. Well done to them both
