The Kent Association of Local Councils (KALC) Community Award serves to acknowledge and give recognition to those outstanding individuals who have made a significant and positive contribution to their local community.
Recognised for their long-standing commitment to the villages of Cliffe and Cliffe Woods, the proud recipients of the 2023 Award are Karen and Andy Hansen.
From the Emmanuel Centre in Cliffe Woods, both work tirelessly behind the scenes supporting the local and wider community including coffee mornings, food banks and facilities for the youth.
They were presented with the award by the Parish Council chairman, Barry Dibble, at the Annual Parish Meeting on 20/4/23.
They join a growing list of worthy annual award winners. Nominations for 2024 will open in November/December 2023.
