The following is taken from keiths report to the Mid Devon Advertiser
Bovey's men's team had another good Mid Devon League result, winning their match against Chudleigh by two rinks to one with one drawn to gain 11 league points and establish themselves firmly in mid-table of division 2.
The Men's Over 55s Y team finally achieved the result which truly reflected their performances, winning well on both rinks at Newton Abbot to take all 8 league points.
The X mens team had an opportunity to take 6 league points from their match against Starcross but dropping a three on the last end meant that their opponents scored the 6 points to Bovey's 2.
Bovey teams were involved in three mixed friendlies, winning two, away at Ottery St Mary and home against Dawlish Marina, and losing at Abbrook Park.
