More Kent libraries are reopening. They will offer a socially distanced book-browsing service for customers so they can select books from the shelves.

Cranbrook and Showfields reopened on Tuesday, 25 August. Southborough library will be opening for browsing on Monday, 7 September, and will continue to offer the Select and Collect service.

Additional safety measures in each library will include hand sanitizer stations, one-way circulation routes through the building, use of the self-service machines and face coverings being mandatory (unless exempt).

The first 12 libraries that opened across Kent in July which included Southborough Library, will continue to offer a Select and Collect service for the time being, with browsing likely to be introduced in the coming weeks.

In September, we will also be relaunching the mobile library service and plan to open further libraries across Kent. Call 03000 41 31 31, check our website https://www.kent.gov.uk/leisure-and-community/libraries or @TunbridgewellsLibraries on Facebook for updates.
