One of the big travel issues in Fleet is the lack of parking spaces at Fleet train station.

This has recently been increased, however there still seems to be not enough spaces. Commuters have reported to us at Buses In Fleet that: when they arrive after 8.30am, they're unlikely to be able to park - which is not ideal.

One commuter has suggested "If there was a fast, RELIABLE, and very regular bus service, I know MANY MANY people would like the convenience and low cost of catching a shuttle as part of their commute."

As a result of the feedback we will be looking into the feasibility of various shuttle services to operate between the train station and Elvetham Heath - Ancells Business park, Crookham Park and Edenbrook to synchronise with the fast trains in and out of London.

The success of the feasibility will also largely depend on feedback from the residents of Fleet and the surrounding community.

Therefore, if you are in support of a train station commuter shuttle bus service please let us know. We need to know how many commuters would be prepared to use a shuttle bus service along with their connecting train times.

Please visit our Buses in Fleet Facebook page and share this post so we can reach as many commuters as possible. Thank you
