Ladies Day at Collingwood.

Our lady bowlers came out in force - and a force they are to be reckoned with - on the first Saturday of the new outdoor season.

Saturday morning at Collingwood Bowling Club is always an enjoyable event.

Traditionally it is our ‘Taster Session’ mornings when the club die hard members come out to welcome prospective new members who come along to try out green bowling, enjoy a cup of tea and freshly baked goodies in a friendly atmosphere.

The green was running well and interestingly, some say, both our ladies and men’s club champions were witnessed testing it out with some early enthusiastic bowling.

It was good to see a couple of new lady members and Collingwood is happy to welcome many more – the message is ‘Come along Ladies’ on a Saturday morning.
