Larondina Dance Company - an evening that will long live in the memory!

We were very lucky to have the Larondina Dance Company (https://www.larondina.org.uk/) performing for us in the round in All Saints’ Church on Saturday 9th September. They are a very special dance company because they're all Down's Syndrome dancers. The company is focused on the need to bring an additional dimension into the lives of people with Down's, by teaching them to dance using a variety of music, and crucially providing regular social events to counteract the negative, mental effects of inactivity and isolation.

As anyone there experienced, the Company's performance was quite amazing. A full house of 130 packed into All Saints' and witnessed something quite unique. Many of the dances choreographed their own dances themselves, which generated a completely new view of people with Down’s Syndrome.
