LATE SURGE SEES LADIES HOME

Tonight's County Club Championship game against Pyestock was close. After 6 ends Oakley led 15-7 but by 12 ends Pyestock had fought back to reduce the deficit to just 3 shots and when, on the 13th end ,scores of 1 and 6 saw Pyestock move into a 25-22 lead it was looking ominous for Oakley. The last ends, however, went Oakley's way and they emerged 38-26 winners.
