Work continued yesterday on replacing the wooden battens with artificial grass and thanks go to President Martin, Bob Goodyear, Ric Newson, Keith Turnbull, Roy Holland and Richard Wallis who were all spotted working away in the ditches - see pictures. Costs of this work will be partly offset by the monies secured from Churchill Retirement Living for allowing them to advertise at the green - see photo. Thanks go to Colin Statham for negiotating this agreement and to the Estate for allowing it.

Tomorrow Alice Lovett plays in the Last 16 of the National Champion of Champions competition at the Dolphin Club in Poole. It is a fine achievement to get so far in the event and I am sure we wish her all the best and continued success. We shall be looking out for her results.
