LEAGUE PRESENTATION AT OAKLEY

This afternoon the Club hosted the 2022 Whitchurch League Presentation Day as a team representing the competiton winners took on one comprising players from the teams that had won the Leagues. After a poor week from a weather perspective, it was fortunate that, as players gathered in front of the pavilion to pay their respect to our late Queen, the sun came out and the match was played out in good conditions. Following the match, everyone moved over to the Malshanger Clubhouse where, after drinks and a buffet, the trophies were presented to the winners and runners up of both the competitions and the leagues. The Club's thanks go to our members who prepared and set up the green, manned the bar and assisted Diane with the buffet, either by preparing the food or setting it up and clearing up on the day. We hope our visitors enjoyed their day.
