Apply for voter ID now (if you don't already have it)

To vote in person at the election on Thursday 4 May 2023, you’ll need to bring an accepted form of photo ID.

If you don’t have one already, you have until 5pm on Tuesday (25 April) to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which you can show at the polling station.

If you have friends or family who might not have valid ID, please encourage them to check now and apply for a Voter Authority Certificate before the deadline.
