Sevenoaks District Council has published its latest version of the Local Plan, and the Regulation 19 consultation period runs until 17th September.

The Parish Council has set up a dedicated page on its website to share information regarding how to comment on the Local Plan: Local Plan 2042.

Why is it important to comment? ALL comments submitted in this Regulation 19 phase will be sent with the Local Plan to the Government for examination by a Planning Inspector. If you submit comments by the end of 17th September these will be read. You will also have an opportunity to take part in the hearings in 2027, should you wish to be involved.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
