Local Plan Site Notices

Some residents may have seen a number of site notices that have been displayed at sites across the Borough. Please note these are not new site allocations. They were included in the pre-submission Local Plan published in June 2018, so everyone who took part in that consultation would have already had the opportunity to comment on these sites.

However, they didn't have a Local Plan site notice at the time, this might be because the site already had planning permission or construction work was already underway. We are currently accepting comments on these sites across the Borough.

The submitted local plan lists a number of sites across the Borough including some that already have planning permission (as the plan period started in 2016). For completeness, the Planning Inspector has asked that these sites have site notices, so we are accepting comments for six weeks on these specific sites.

We have already received comments on these sites, and if you have already commented on these, you do not need to comment again.

You are able to comment until Friday 21 June.
