Sadly missing Stan for this outing it was without any shadow of a doubt the Flames back to their more familiar style. Keeping the ball with patience and control getting Popley to do all of the running around, building up the pressure from the outset, back forth, forward, back, side ways, forwards until eventually it paid off with a confident opener.

Popley got themselves back into the game and continued to fight back as the Phoenix found themselves moving forward but foul of the offside flag on too many occasions until Hatch Warren started to put the nails in the coffin and put the game to bed with unselfish, team spirited play right through until the final whistle walking away 6-1 winners and had their keeper not been on such good form it would've been so much more and now onto the next round.

A sterling team performance in all areas of the park as Zak Llewellyn & Brayden Bavister claim shared player of the match awards.
