Long Ashton Bowling Club is celebrating an extraordinary season for its Ladies Section, with the team securing a clean sweep of honours across three major competitions.

The Long Ashton Ladies have enjoyed one of the most successful campaigns in the club's history, demonstrating exceptional consistency, teamwork and determination throughout the season.

The first triumph came in the Bristol and District League Division 2, where the team topped the table and secured promotion to the league's top tier as champions, achieving the feat with a match to spare.

Not content with that success, the ladies went on to capture the Doreen Ralph League title, further highlighting their dominance on the green.

To complete an unforgettable season, Long Ashton were also crowned North Somerset Triples League Champions, making it a remarkable hat-trick of league victories and firmly establishing themselves as one of the region's leading ladies' bowling teams.

Club Captain Pauline Hodges paid tribute to everyone who played a part in the club's success.

"This has been an incredible season for our ladies. To win promotion as champions and then go on to secure two more league titles is a fantastic achievement. I would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the season, both on and off the green. The encouragement, commitment and team spirit shown by everyone involved have made these achievements possible."

The club is immensely proud of the ladies' accomplishments and looks forward to building on this success as they prepare to compete at the highest level of the Bristol and District League next season.
