In blistering 30°C+ heat at Nailsea Bowls Club Ladies Triples Day, the Long Ashton contingent delivered some fantastic performances.
With temperatures soaring, the tournament format was sensibly reduced to three matches of six ends each – but that didn’t slow things down on the green!
The Long Ashton trio of Debbie, Sarah, and Kim proved unstoppable, winning all three of their matches to secure overall top spot – a brilliant achievement in such tough conditions
Not far behind, another Long Ashton trio of Sarah, Maddie and Urszula also impressed, finishing in a very creditable 3rd place
Well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to Nailsea Bowls Club for hosting and organising another excellent day of competition.
