We’re very pleased to announce that Lowther Estates has kindly agreed to allow a permissive footpath on its land, from Highfield to Celleron, and a route has been agreed.

This access to the countryside will be very much appreciated by the people of Sockbridge & Tirril. It would form part of a Parish Circular Path, a proposal approved by 77% of people who completed the Survey for the Community Led Plan.

We are grateful to Lowther for this favour, and we shall now draw up the details of the path.
