M3 Jnct 9 upgrade - Planned closures

  • Overnight on Monday 16 March the contractors are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 10 and 9 (9pm to 6am) - Carriageway management
  • Overnight from Friday 20 March to Friday 1 May (excluding weekends apart from Saturday 25 April) the contractors are closing the A272 both northbound and southbound (8pm to 6am) – Surfacing works, A272 gyratory island build and vegetation management. Please note this closure will not take place over the bank holiday weekend: 3 to 6 April.
  • Overnight on 28 March the contractors are closing the A272 southbound and the M3 southbound exit slip road (8pm to 6am) – Traffic Management switch

The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.

You are advised not to use a Satnav when following any of the diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto the network when it is closed.
