M3 junction 9 improvements - Road Closures. 17/07

• Overnight only from Monday 20 until 25 July and from Tuesday 4 until 8 August we are closing sections of the M3 junction 9 roundabout, between A34 northbound and southbound (8pm to 6am) – Traffic Management layout changes

M3 Jnct 9 upgrade - Planned closures

Below sets out the planned closures for the planned works:

• Emergency Closure*** Overnight on Friday 17 July we are closing the M3 southbound between junctions 8 and 9 – Crash Barrier replacement
• Overnight only from Thursday 16 July until 30 July (excluding weekends) we are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 10 and 9 (8pm to 6am) - Carriageway management
  • Diversion: M3 junction 10 to 9 northbound diversion
• Overnight only from Monday 20 until 25 July and from Tuesday 4 until 8 August the contractors are closing sections of the M3 junction 9 roundabout, between A34 northbound and southbound (8pm to 6am) – Traffic Management layout changes
  • Diversion: M3 roundabout closure between A34 northbound and southbound
• Overnight on Thursday 30 July the contractors are closing the M3 southbound between junctions 8 and 9 (8pm to 6am) – For Temporary Vehicle Restraint removal
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: M3 junction 8 to 9 southbound diversion

The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.

You are advised not to use a Satnav when following any of the diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto the network when it is closed.
