Message from the Highways Agency - Upcoming weeknight closures

To enable our teams to work safely with the strengthening works, a short section of the southbound M5 at J21 will be closed weeknights (Monday – Friday, 10pm - 6am).

The weeknight closures will be in place from Monday 28 September until Thursday 19 November.

A well signed, short ‘up and over’ diversion will be in place:

leave the M5 at junction 21 exit slip
rejoin the M5 at junction 21 entry slip

M5 J21 southbound carriageway will be open during the day and at weekends.

Dates may change at short notice due to poor weather conditions or operational reasons. If we’re unable to complete our work as planned, we may need to continue beyond the dates stated.
