Hayes made their annual pilgrimage to Malmesbury to compete in the friendliest way possible for the Mike Pegler Plate. This fixture is always looked forward to by Malmesbury and Hayes. The comment "when are you coming up to Hayes" was often heard, so maybe it is about time Malmesbury went up the M4.

The weather held up, fortunately there was no rain, but the sun did not come out either. A big thank you to those who arranged the day including the catering, the raffle and the disco.

Everyone participated and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in the six rinks. Malmesbury came out top. As always the result is not important, more the spirit in which the game is played.

Maybe next year, we shall be in Hayes ?

There are photographs of the day in the Gallery secton..
