Malmesbury took the long journey to Olveston on Tuesday 13 July. When they arrived, they found a much changed Olveston team and a quirky grass green. It was a low-scoring match, with Olveston winning two of the three rinks, with Roy's rink the only winning rink for Malmesbury.

Overall, Olveston won 8-2 on points and 51-41 on shots.

However, the good news, is that Fairford 'B' beat Wotton-under-Edge by 10-0 and Frampton on Severn beat Nailsworth Mills by 8-2. Thus there were no changes in the positions, so Malmesbury remains top of the division with a 17 points margin.

The division table is here http://www.bowlsnews.co.uk/division2.html

There are three games left for Malmesbury as the last week is a bye for Malmesbury. The next game is at home against Falcon on Tuesday 20 July at 18:15
