It was an "interesting" game on our home carpet against Olveston on Tuesday evening. After two away games on grass, the Malmesbury home rinks eventually got used to the line and pace of the artificial surface. Quick adjustment to the new surface is going to be a challenge. However, there are no excuses, the players have to play on what is in front of them be it grass or carpet.

Tim's rink led the way with a 26-15 win, thanks to Tim's skipping efforts. Ruby's rink won 17-11 and Roy's rink had an off day and finished 12-20. Overall Malmesbury won by 55-46 and picked up 8 points. Well done to everyone for keeping cool, calm, and collected on the evening. Olveston, our opponents, moved into second place.

The division table can be found here http://www.bowlsnews.co.uk/division2.html.

The next game is at Falcon next week and the next home game is on Tuesday 8 June 2021 against Fairford B.
