At the next pitch fee review (early next year), it may be possible to claim a loss of amenity and request a reduction in any proposed increase. Loss of amenity refers to situations where a resident’s enjoyment of their pitch has been reduced - for example, losing a natural outlook or having new structures placed directly in front of your home.

To support a claim, you would need before‑and‑after photos taken from your home showing the change in outlook. It’s not guaranteed - a judge would need to decide whether the loss of view is significant enough - but it is absolutely worth preparing for by keeping clear evidence.
