MATCHMAKER TROPHY 2022

ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT bowlers descended upon Portchester Bowling Club today for the Matchmaker Trophy.

Teams from Crofton, Fareham, Lockswood and Portchester gathered for what is usually an annual event which has sadly been postponed due to lockdowns.

It was a fantastic sight to see so many people out in the sun enjoying the sport we love.

These events always take a great amount of organisation and preparation, so huge thanks to all the PLAYERS, SPECTATORS, PORTCHESTER COMPETITION SECRETARY AND CLUB CAPTAINS, THE CATERING TEAM, THE BAR TEAM and to everyone else that helped to make the day such a success.

And as it is a competition there has to be a winner.
