Sunday 18th June 2017.

The Mayor of Swaffham, Cllr Jill Skinner attended the Desert Rats Association Annual Open Day and Memorial Service on Sunday.

This annual event sees over 800 people attend and centres on a memorial service to honour the soldiers of the Desert Army of WW2 who fought and gave their lives for the freedom and honour of our nation against a determined enemy.

It was a very hot day however an extremely enjoyable one.
