MBBC v Tiverton - last Tiverton Cup ever

MBBC played Tiverton Park in the last ever Tiverton Cup game. MBBC were helped by Tiverton Park in forming their club in 1983. Since then the two clubs have competed for the Cup. This year, MBBC went into the 2nd leg with a + 4 shot advantage. At tea on the 2nd leg, MBBC still held a slender lead. However, after tea the lead slipped away and eventually Tiverton came out on top. Many memories reamain of our association and we wish all Tiverton Members good luck in their future plans. The Park and Tiverton Borough are amalgamating to form Tiverton Canal Bowling Club.
