Congratulations to our A team who have come top of the MDL premier league and also to the B team for retaining their place in the First division.

Yesterday I picked up the base of the trophy on which I was having the winners name engraved on it and this allowed me to examine the previous winners. According to the names, Shaldon first won the trophy in 1990 and their next win was 1999. From that date to the present year Shaldon have won that trophy 20 times. They missed out to Torquay once and Kings twice and for two years, 2020 and 2021 there was no league due to covid restrictions.

A remarkable acheivement, well done men.
