Memorial Headstone Update

Dear Residents,

The Parish Council is committed to ensuring the safety of all headstones at the Cemetery. A recent inspection has identified some headstones that were immediately unsafe, which have now been carefully laid down.

There are several additional headstones requiring attention. We kindly request that you inspect your family plots and notify us of any unstable or loose headstones by contacting clerk@evercreech-pc.gov.uk. Please arrange for any necessary repairs to be carried out by a qualified Stonemason and inform the Parish Council once this work has been completed.

We ask that all required safety measures be implemented by the end of January 2026. If any headstones remain unsafe after this date, the Parish Council will be obligated to lay them down.
