Memorial Race Day for Ellie

Sunday June 14th 12 noon – late. Free Entry

Westhope Village Hall is hosting a Race Day on behalf of the family of Brian Ellis, a great and much loved stalwart of Westhope who sadly passed away in October last year. Ellie enjoyed Race Nights, so we have organised a great day of entertainment in his memory.

Proceeds: Apart from bar takings, all proceeds will be donated to charities that Ellie’s Family have nominated, ‘Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis’ and ‘Brain Tumour Research’

Programme of Events

• Food from ‘The Pizza Girls’ and ‘Hoof & Scoop’ ice cream from 12 noon
• Licensed Bar all day with Ludlow Gold on Tap
• 1:45pm: Toast to Ellie with a free glass of bubbly provided for all
• Racing from 2pm with a programme of nine races including an ‘Auction Race’
• Evening entertainment provided by ‘The Singing Farmer’

Overflow Free Parking kindly provided by Westhope College with a Free Ferry Service 12 noon – 1pm and 7pm – late.
