Find out more about this community in:

The biggest (?) beach clean in Eastbourne will take place on the weekend of 24th/25th March and MOMAs are proud to be involved in it.

In collaboration with a range of other local community groups we will help clean the entire stretch of beach on Eastbourne's seafront.

It is hoped that, this will be part of getting Eastbourne the award of "Plastic Free Eastbourne". It will be 'opened' by our Mayor with many organisations involved, including; the Marine Conservation Society, Surfers Against Sewage, Sea Shepherd, Mucky Mermaids, and Survival Equals Action.

MOMAs are proud to complete this beach clean alongside many other Meads orgaisations and businesses including:

  • The Meads Community Association
  • The Friends of Meads Parks and Gardens
  • Meads Runners
  • The Ship
  • Love Cake Cafe
  • Bedes Prep Schools
  • St John's Church
  • St John's Meads School
  • Roedean Moria House School
  • Meads Councillors

We will be meeting at Holywell Tea rooms at 10am on Saturday 24th March 2018 - see you there!
