How many Parish Councillors does it Take to Change an Air Quality Monitoring Tube?!!
Parish Councillors Mrs Pat Darnton, Alan Warnes and Chairman, David Knight, gather to watch their groundsman, Jim Upfold, change air quality monitoring tubes which have been installed in three traffic congested locations around the village – in Botley Road, outside the Infant School and the Ox, and in Rownhams Road opposite the Chemist.
Air at these locations is being monitored over a period of 6 months from October 2016 to March 2017. The tubes are changed monthly and sent to a specialist company, ESG (Environmental Scientifics Group), for analysis. The results will be published in the Beadle and on the website.
