Hello local Parishes,
I am happy to let you all know we now have a replacement for Matthew ROBINSON, who left earlier in the year. Lauren BRUCE is a new officer, she is very keen and happy to assist with any issues. Please bare with her while she gets to grips with the areas!
ASH
There continues to be reports of ASB, Please encourage residents to report any ASB, 999 for emergencies, 101 or on-line to report everything else. Kent Police do not monitor Social Media, so putting incidents on there will not get a response from Police.
Bonfire night went off with a bang, but there were no reports of any issues to Police.
I attended a victim of an attempt fraud, male claiming to be from fraud squad asking resident to transfer a large sum of money into a new bank account. They realised it was a scam and no money was transferred. Never give out any personal information to anyone.
This time of year does see an increase in Burglaries, please ensure doors and windows are locked, any large expensive items purchased for christmas, please make all packaging is desposed of correctly, don’t advertise you have a brand new 65inch television!
I dealt with an RTC on Church Road, a van had collided with another car and fallen onto its side blocking the road. Please take care when driving especially when the roads are wet and sun is low and bright.
I attended Barnfield Park meeting, no issues to report.
On election day all PCSOs were tasked with attended the Polling Stations, I am happy to report there were no issues.
HARTLEY and HODSOLL STREET
The reports of ASB continue and we are continuing to work with SDC and WKHA to combat these issues.
There has been an increase in ASB in Caxton Close, Northfield and surrounding areas with several residents being targetted on numerous occassions.
Over Halloween and Bonfire night there were several reports of vehicles and property windows being smashed, a proactive night of action was carried out on 11th December to combat these issues and more are planned for the new year.
Myself and CLO Laura VINCE attended Dementia Café at Wellfield and helped them to celebrate Christmas.

FARNINGHAM, HORTON KIRBY, SOUTH DARENTH
There was a travellers funeral in November, while this caused no issues, the parking in the surrounding roads did. Please make sure you park in accordance with the Highway Code and don’t obstuct other road users.
Myself and a colleague attended Horton Kiirby School as we had had reports of bad parking during the morning time. As we were there no one parked badly, but we have arranged to attend the school in the new year and speak to the pupils about Road Safety.

CROCKENHILL, WELL HILL
There have been no calls regarding ASB this month, but patrols will continue to provide a visible presence in the area.
