More hot weather - but remember no swimming at Balderton Lake

With the return of the warm, sunny weather, our lake is looking more beautiful, peaceful and inviting. However, we would like to remind residents and visitors that the lake is not a swimming lake and entering the water is not permitted.

Don’t be tempted to cool off as the water presents hidden risks, including cold temperatures, uneven depths and potentially submerged hazards. These dangers are not apparent from the shore.

For your own safety, please enjoy the lake from the paths and surrounding open space and help us keep this a safe environment for everyone. Thank-you for your co-operation and understanding. Please stay safe and enjoy the sunshine responsibly
