Thanks to Joy at the council for helping us get 4 new plastic/cans recycle bins which were delivered today.

I did a check on all the bin areas this evening to see where we're at with bins and whether we still need more.

1. In general there's plenty of room in all bins for paper and card. Nearly all the paper recycle bins we looked at were half empty.

2. In general the black bins are mostly quite full after a week, but unfortunately all black bins had lots of card and boxes in them which makes them fuller than they should be.

3. In general the whole site is short of plastic/can recycling capacity so hopefully the four news ones delivered today will help.

4. The green garden waste bins by the club and further up on Main Drive near Bulphan are completely full after a week. However, other areas like back Orchard have lots of spare capacity so it might need a re-jig of green bins on the site to match demand.

We'll keep an eye on how things go over the next week to see if the new bins make a difference. If needs be we can ask Joy for more plastic/can bins if the new ones still aren't enough but see how it goes.
