New Bus Service for Clun – X81 Route Extension
Clun Town Council is pleased to share the news that Shropshire Council, working in partnership with Powys County Council, has secured an extension to the existing X81 bus service.

From 2 November, the X81 will operate between Newtown and Craven Arms, via Clun, providing a significant improvement to public transport provision for the town.

The extended service will run eight times per day (four journeys in each direction), six days per week, offering residents increased flexibility for travel to work, education, appointments, shopping, and onward rail connections.

The Council wishes to record its thanks to Ward Councillor Sam Walmsley for his continued work and support in progressing this matter with both Shropshire and Powys County Councils.

A timetable and route map are available by clicking on the images above.
