New Chair needed

Last month our Chair advised the committee that he wouldn’t put himself up for re-election at the AGM in March 2025. He has served for three years and feels the need to take a break. Gary believes a change at the top is needed because the current committee structure isn’t working as he would like.

Gary would like to thank the majority of members for their support and he believes we’ve had many successes to be proud of since forming the association. Gary welcomes the fact James is likely to stay on to keep things stable and ensure the association is effective. However, we need to think about a replacement Chair as the AGM is only 5 months away.

We’ve had one person express an interest. However, being Chair isn’t just about overseeing meetings. It does require someone who knows about (or is willing to research) park site law, licensing, local authorities, tribunals etc. So, if anyone has these credentials please feel free to contact Gary who can explain the role.
