A new community notice board has been proudly installed outside Alexander House, offering a welcoming space to stay informed and connected.

The idea for the notice board was first raised during community discussions, with organisers recognising the need for a visible and accessible place to share updates, news, and important information. Now, that idea has become a reality thanks to the dedication of local volunteers.

Special thanks have been extended to the group’s tireless volunteers, Dave and Don, whose hard work and commitment and Fox's Fencing for the supplies have made the project possible. Their efforts have resulted in a high-quality notice board that already features the community’s most recent newsletter, ensuring that local updates are easily available to everyone passing by.

In addition, the board proudly displays Alexander House National Lottery plaque, highlighting the support that has helped the organisation grow and deliver the meaningful project for the community.

The new installation is expected to become a central point for sharing announcements, celebrating achievements, and keeping people up to date with events and activities at Alexander House.

Community members have welcomed the notice board as a positive step forward, reinforcing the strong sense of collaboration and local pride that continues to drive improvements in Bootle.
