New Defibrillator now Online

We have some fantastic news, following on from some amazingly successful fundraising events, the centre has been able to acquire a new defibrillator which is now commissioned and ready to use 💓

We know that this means a great deal to many members of the community who may have themselves or friends experienced related heart illnesses and we know just how important it is that these vital life saving devices are available to the community.

Hence the team at the centre are proud to invest the required thousands of pounds to ensure we can continue to be a potential life saving location for a defibrillator. Not only this but we've also invested in additional child compatible pads which allows our new defibrillator to be used on children up to 8 years old.

We can only apologise for the delay in replacing our previous unit. The delay was caused by trying to save it from disposal and attempting to find grants (which unfortunately the majority we are no longer eligible for having had one previously for the same device).

Nevertheless we are please to bring this update to you and thank you for all the support you give us to enable the centre to invest in this vital community resource.
