We've just been advised of the following:
Soke Road in Silchester will be closed between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 on 18th and 19th September 2023, the closure will be between its junction with Reading Road to outside the property known as Watermeadow Cottage at the district boundary.
An alternative route is via Pamber Road, Silchester Road, A340 Aldermaston Road, Burghfield Road, Reading Road and vice versa.
The purpose of this closure is to enable Openreach to safely access underground structure for gully works.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
Please Note: Blue light access will be maintained.
