Have you seen our minibuses driving around West Berkshire?

Our Handybus volunteer drivers are taking elderly and mobility impaired neighbours to shopping centres, social gatherings and wellness activities as one of the many services offered by Volunteer Centre West Berkshire.

Many local residents become socially isolated when they are unable to access local transport. Handybus offers a door-to-door service run by community minded, caring individuals who do not mind going that extra mile; but we can only continue to run this service with the support of the local community. That means you.

Can you drive?
Are you over 21?
Are you a West Berkshire resident?

If so, we really need your help. Handybus are currently recruiting volunteer drivers for Newbury and Thatcham. Whatever your availability, we are sure there is a position available for you with the Handybus team and we cannot wait to meet you!
