Message about our Brown Bins from a local who asked if Newark and Sherwood District Council
are planning to restart Emptying them
NSDC wrote.......

Unfortunately the Garden Recycling service remains suspended. The Council have apologised for any inconvenience this is causing. The service remains suspended due to social distancing guidelines. There are two men to a lorry and therefore all the lorries are being used to collect the green and silver bins. To ensure the council keeps these vital services going they can’t say when the brown bin collection will resume.

"Different councils have different resources and based on the resources we have we are offering the best service we possibly can whilst maintaining a safe environment for our staff and customers.”
As a reminder customers have the following options.
You can call the customer services team on 01636 650000 and ask for your subscription to be cancelled. You will be entitled to a refund and your garden bin/bins will be removed.
