Match Fees
Thinking all the way back to the 2019 season we charged £2.50 per match. Expenses were very rarely claimed as most members chose to contribute these towards the costs of the new green. The club also enjoyed an income from regular raffles. During 2020 the season was so disrupted that we dropped any extra charge. At the start of 2021 we introduced a charge of £1 for friendly games and £2 for league games. We now intend to rationalize this and charge £2 for all matches, home and away. There are two reasons for collecting this money. The first is to contribute towards club running costs and the second towards club developments such as improvements to the facilities. If you have any suggestions about issues the club might tackle or wish to discuss any of the developments that are being considered then please talk to any member of the committee. Some people have begun to share transport to away matches. Please can you come to a personal arrangement over any costs involved? We intend to react and adapt to changes in COVID rules as the season progresses.
Bereavement
We heard that Danny Comley has passed away. Very sad news indeed. There will no doubt be further details to follow.
