We are currently preparing for the VE day Celebration with two events taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 5th of May

This is to coincide with the Nations “Tip Top Towns” initiative for all communities to come together and celebrate 80 years since the end of war in Europe.

An afternoon tea will take place in the Village Hall, organised by the WI, please see their information about this event, timings and raffle prizes.

The other event is a “Picnic in the Park”, from 12pm onwards.

Bring your own picnic, blanket, chairs, gazebos etc. Hula Hoops, bean bags, kites etc

Dogs on leads will be welcome, obviously clean-up will be the owner’s responsibility.

Dress up is optional but might be fun to dress in 40’s style if you are daring. Kids too.

There will several stalls with different products to offer on the day such as Cakes, handmade toys, Leather/Steel works, Fused Glass, Nature based products, Jewellery and Foods and plants,

Maybe more to come as all are welcome. Just drop me an email at Lesley.parham@evercreech-pc.gov.uk if you would like a place.

Music performed by The Grey Dogs and our very own VICE LORD-LIEUTENANT OF SOMERSET Mr Ted Allen will be present.

The new building for the Youth Club will be open for refreshments and use of toilet facilities,

There will be a raffle for a “Family Rover ticket” From the East Somerset Railway, £20 Amazon Voucher from Peter Greens and a Dog Coat and Sundries from Canine Design.
