Since the Club’s beginnings in 1908 to now, at the end of 2019, we are in a position to take a radical new step.

After almost three years of planning it is possible to achieve a new, complete revamp of the grass green to an all-weather surface. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes by the committee, and not all straight forward, to achieve this exciting stage in the Club’s development and history.

You will remember that the committee was tasked to achieve this change as it was felt that members could use the green for longer in the season, make it easier to bowl without the pressure of the heavy green.

Monday 13th January 2020 is the planned start date for this endeavour.

The work will take approximately eight weeks, from Monday to Friday each week. Access for the construction traffic will be from the bypass end of Baskerville and so, on occasion, large vehicles will be travelling along the route. The club’s car park will be closed during the day but will be available for access to the club in the evening (subject to no construction machinery).

Please look on the Club’s notice board for updates on bowling, skittles, Christmas events and general information.

(Christmas Bingo 14th December, Christmas Skittles 21st December and Christmas Draw 23rd December)

The Club will be closed from Tuesday 24th December until early January.

The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 23rd February, 2020 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm start. Please put this in your new diary!

The bowling fees remain the same at £115 per year and this is due on 1st January 2020.

Christmas 2019 is almost here and the General Committee would like to wish one and all a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and New Year.
