Bar

Following a considerable effort, the bar is now back to the pre-covid standard that many members enjoy.

The next step will be to advertise for staff to run it, particularly during the skittles season, which is due to start on August 15th!

We will make every effort to employ staff this year however we will need to have a backup plan, a rota of members willing to step in
and cover.

If you are able to participate in a rota of weekday evenings at all during August and September, then please let Tom Wilkes know.

Club Competitions

The registration forms for the Club Competitions 2022 are now available in the clubhouse.

You have until Thursday, August 4th to register for these, ladies and men. The draw takes place on Friday, August 5th.

Please note that some competitions will not run if there are not enough entrants and some will be on set dates (with a penalty).

There are lots of August friendlies to sign up for at the moment!

Rink Booking

This will be re-established with immediate effect. The rink booking pro-forma will be attached to the notice board under the list of competitions. This will alleviate any clashing of arranged matches and also inform members of forthcoming competitions should they wish to support. It will also help to inform when the green has to be closed for maintenance etc.

Gardening

It is always good to see the garden areas of the club looking attractive but this does need some work. If you have any spare time to help then please contact Andy Brown.
