The Parish Council has now held their annual meeting and I'm very pleased to have accepted the role of Chair for another year.

We have also acknowledged the election of Councillor Robert Reed to Somerset Council and wish to congratulate him on his appointment.

The PC welcomed our newest Councillor Bethan Stanley and have another prospective candidate waiting to be considered.

To date, grants towards securing the funds for the village cross repair have not been forthcoming although we are still actively looking for possible funding streams. Quotes received for the repair have been received to the tune of around £12k.

As a council, we can apply for grants towards projects, this process is ongoing. Parish Councils are not permitted to actively fund raise. Parish Councils are, however, allowed to receive donations from the community towards projects. We would like to offer the Parish Residents the opportunity to fund raise and donate towards the repair.
