COVID Update

The continuation of restrictions may be disappointing but if we remain vigilant they should not spoil our enjoyment. Let’s all stick to the rules for another month!

Friendly Fixtures

Dress Code: Greys

  • Saturday 3 July - In-House game 2:30
  • Sunday 4 July - Royal Wotton Basset Home 2:30
  • Saturday 10 July - Swindon Town Gardens Away 2.30
  • Sunday 18 July - In-house game 2:30
  • Sunday 25 July - Burford Town Home 2:30
  • Saturday 31 July - Rodbourne Cheney Home 2:30

Some of these are yet to be confirmed however we will run an ‘In-House’ game if any team cancels, so names on the board are still welcome.

Second In-House Triples Competition

Our current competition started on Thursday 24 June and will run for 7 weeks.

The next In-House triples (teams formed by club members themselves and not drawn) will start on Thursday 19 August.

Self-selected teams need to be posted on a board in the clubhouse.

Signing up for games

From now on members will be able to sign up and check information in the clubhouse (when it is open) as well as online and directly via Derek. maryderek@btinternet.com 01666 823482

Emergency Contacts

We intend to update our first aid and emergency response procedures. To this end, we would appreciate all members completing a new contact form. A register of emergency contacts will then be held behind the bar. Further information to follow.

Shed Clearance

We intend to clear out and tidy up the two sheds at the end of the green. If you have been storing any items in these sheds please can you remove them? Any woods will be retained but all other items, not belonging to the club will be binned, from 24 July onwards.

New Jacks

The new jacks are the correct weight for an artificial green. Please look after these by placing them in the lined boxes that have been made available.

Green Maintenance

Dales will be stretching and rolling the carpet on the morning of Wednesday 30 June so the green will be out of action that day.

There are limited car parking spaces at the club. If possible, please park in Cross Hayes. It is a short walk from Cross Hayes, down Silver Street, to the club house.
