Norbury travelled to Croydon for a league fixture on 21 May and came away with a strong overall win.

The rink skipped by Sam had a close battle on their hands. After trailing 6–1 after five ends, they kept their heads and steadily pulled things back, winning 8 of the remaining 13 ends to clinch a narrow 16–14 victory.

On the other rink, the team skipped by Merryl were in control from the outset. Never behind at any point, they built on a solid start and finished convincingly, winning 21–8.

A great result away from home – well done, team Norbury!
