The Norfolk County Bowls Coaching Association (NCBCA) held its Autumn County Coaching Day last weekend, drawing more than 40 enthusiastic bowlers from across the county. The event offered a full day of coaching, drills, and strategic workshops, all designed to elevate player performance ahead of the indoor season.

Led by County Coach Aaron Linford and a dedicated team of certified coaches, the day included sessions on:

  • Shot selection

  • Reading the head

  • Improving delivery technique

  • Positional play in pairs and triples

“It was a fantastic day — the energy, focus, and camaraderie from everyone involved really stood out,” said Aaron. “We’re proud to support bowlers of all levels with quality coaching opportunities.”

A big thank you to everyone who took part, including volunteers, club staff, and coaches. Photos and feedback from the day will be shared on our website and social media soon.
